Your Holistic Path to Health & Well-Being for 2024

I've always believed that true health and wellbeing is found through a holistic approach. When we incorporate diverse self-care into our lives, we thrive mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our being is interconnected - caring for one aspect affects the others. A walk in nature, monthly friend dates, bodywork like massage or acupuncture, intuitive readings, energy healing, therapy, exercise, vacations, meditation - these all nurture different yet interconnected facets of our whole self.

For example, if there’s an energy block in the throat chakra, we might be experiencing neck and jaw tension, and be holding back from speaking our truth in relationships. This may contribute to depression, mental distress, and a holding back of core essence, our true authentic spiritual self.

Planning self-care makes self care more likely to happen. As 2024 approaches, I invite you to think about who is part of your health and self care team? What types of activity, exercise, services, treatments and modalities would benefit you now? How often will you do/receive these supports to feel your best?

Take moment to reflect on your current self-care routine. Is there something missing that you need to add? Reincorporating something helpful from your past can restore balance. Our needs evolve, so be open to trying new approaches too.

Identify what your priorities are now. Make a self-care wish list. Then consciously choose one or two actions that will give you what you require to be happier, healthier and more whole.
