Five Ways to Clear Your Energy Field

Clearing is a process that actually exists all around us and on many levels. For instance, within Nature there are cycles that ensure balance, which include elimination, seasonal changes, activation of the fire, water, earth & air elements, and composting.

Our bodies also have built-in ways of maintaining health and balance by regularly eliminating toxins and unwanted organisms. We also consciously choose to clean our homes, our dishes, our bodies. On the subtle energy levels, these processes help support the clarity of the energy field. No matter how much space clearing one does, if the room is cluttered and dirty, energy will stay stuck. And because we are constantly bringing our thoughts, emotions and ‘stuff’ into our spaces, even a clean organized space can use some regular energy clearing and charging with light, color, and love. When it comes to our own personal energy field, no matter how much exercise, healthy eating and meditation we do, sometimes our energy needs an extra boost to re-find balance, healthy flow, and clarity.

One common question clients ask, is “How do I clear my energy field myself?” or “How do I protect my energy?” Clearing and balancing the human energy field, is part of what you receive in various degrees in any session with me, but there are ways you can do this yourself as well. When it comes to ‘protecting’ your energy field, I always encourage people to start with clearing, balancing and raising vibration. Nine times out of ten, this is what you really need. When our own field is depleted, and carrying around low vibrational thoughts, images or beliefs… that’s when we are more porous, vulnerable to other low vibrational energies, and ‘stuff’. This doesn’t mean you have to be positive all the time or avoidant. No way. Spiritual bypassing isn’t healthy. It simply means take some time to regularly tend to your self wholistically- body, mind/thoughts, emotion, spirit.
 
Why Clear?
 
So, during the course of our day, week, life... our  personal energy field shifts, adapts to the demands of life, accumulates 'stuff' from the environment, others, or our own thoughts and emotions, and also can be influenced by viruses, or bacteria.  

Symptoms of Needing Clearing:
 
* feeling not quite at your best
* feeling stuck or stagnant
* disconnected from our True Self
* fatigued, depressed, or uncentered
* feeling vulnerable to 'bad' energies
* development of various health issues
 
 
5 Ways to Clear:
 
There are many ways to support the clearing of your energy field and help maintain a clearer field. Sometimes we do need external support (ie..a session) to clear more fully and entrain our field to what it feels like to be clear and healthy but here are some great ways you can support yourself. These can be really effective. Clearing is a lot about raising vibration. Stuck stagnant energy is denser and vibrating at a slower frequency. When you raise the overall vibration of your energy field, the lower frequency energy is loosened and lifted away. 
 
🌲 Time in Nature: Getting away from the city, out amidst Nature, attunes us to the vibrations of the Earth. Especially being around trees is helpful, or the Ocean. The Ocean gives off negative ions which is very clearing for our energy field.
 
🛀🏼 Salt and Soda Bath: Up to a pound of sea and a pond of baking soda in a warm bath is very clearing for the energy field.
 
🧴Frankincense Essential Oil: Right now I'm finding this essential oil to be very helpful in sessions for raising energy vibration and clearing people's energy fields. Frankincense has a rich history of use in healing and sacred ceremony. Always use essentials oils diluted with a carrier oil such as jojoba, olive or other non-scented oil.
 
🍃 Smudge:  Burn a little Sage, Copal, or Palo Santo, and use your hands or a feather to stroke the smoke around you from head to toe, inviting the smoke to clear any stagnant energy in your field.
 
🌈 Color: Connect in with your root chakra- with your intention and your hands fill this area with a beautiful red or rose red color. Breathe fully, visualizing the color.
Continue up for each chakra:
2nd Chakra (lower belly)= Orange
3rd Chakra (just above belly button)= yellow
4th Chakra (center of chest)= Green or Rose
5th Chakra (Throat)= Sky Blue
6th Chakra (center of forehead)= Indigo
7th Chakra (crown of head)= White
